Holistic practice is defined as a health and wellness service that is provided with the understanding that the complexity of the human condition requires an integrated and participatory service model to successfully reach optimal health and well-being. Holistic practitioners look for root causes and prioritize prevention and maintenance.

United HP members include, but are not limited to, doctors of integrated medicine, psychology, naturopathy, dentistry and chiropractic, holistic nurses, as well as providers of nutrition services, yoga, massage, Pilates, acupuncture, energy work, homeopathy, herbal medicine, hypnosis, life coaching, and more.  

Soon this website will hold three connected directories: health conditions; holistic practice options; and holistic service providers.  

Our initial website launch includes a directory of providers. We expect to have the other two directories completed well before the end of summer 2007.
